Wow! Life has been super busy lately! We do have some AWESOME updates though!

Bible Drill
Congrats to Gunner, James, and Cameron for doing an excellent job during our Church Drill! They will all advance to the next drill at Baring Cross Baptist in Sherwood on April 4th! I am so proud of them, they have done a super job!!

Movie Night...
...was a HUGE success! Thanks to everyone who helped out and even participated! The kids all dressed up like their favorite super-heroes...most of the girls were super princesses, it was great!

Parenting Seminar
Don't forget to mark your calendar for April 19th immediately following the morning worship service! Ben Phillips from the ABSC will be presenting a Parenting Seminar for parents, grand-parents, aunts, uncles, and any other child-care giver! Lunch and child-care will be provided free of charge!!

New Christian Class
WOW! I am so excited for the children in our church who are accepting Jesus as their Savior! We are starting this new class on April 5th during the 5:00 class time on Sunday. This class will be 4 sessions long and will meet every other week. I can't wait to see how these children are going to grow in the Lord! How exciting that we are blessed to be a part of it!

Bible Drill is going great! I had FOUR kids come to practice on Sunday! I couldn't be more excited...and they are really pumped too! Keep encouraging them to come and practice with your child! Even if your kids aren't old enough to be in Bible Drill..they are never to young to start memorizing scripture and the books of the Bible!

Our Missions Fair is coming up soon! Don't forget to be there and bring a friend! February 1st following the worship service at 10am!

Some missions information you might not have known about. Have you ever heard about the 10/40 window?

The 10/40 Window is an area of the world that contains the largest population of non-Christians in the world. The area extends from 10 degrees to 40 degrees North of the equator, and stretches from North Africa across to China.

Center of population:Two-thirds of the world's population -- more than 3.2 billion people -- live in the 10/40 Window.

Unreached and unevangelized: 95% of the people living in the 10/40 Window are unevangelized. Many have never heard the Gospel message even once. There are either no Christians or not enough of a Christian movement in many cultures of the 10/40 Window to carry out vibrant near-neighbor evangelism. If those groups are to be evangelized, believers will need to leave their own culture to enter another where they will seek to plant the gospel. Such cross-cultural evangelism is required because there are people groups with no church movements that are understandable or relevant to them.
Poverty: Eighty-five percent of those living in the 10/40 window are the poorest of the world's poor.
World religions: Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism are centered within the 10/40 Window.
Least evangelized cities: Half of the world's least evangelized cities are in this window

Activities!

We will begin practice this Sunday at 4:30 and continue through March. I can't wait to see how awesome our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are going to do!

Missions Fair
Wow! I am really excited about the Missions Fair! It seemed like all the parents were too! It is going to be a blessed experience to watch our kids as they learn about other countries and about how they can help impact the world for God! Don't forget to let me know which country your child has picked! :)
